Things to do in Cancun, Mexico - My Favorite 3

So you've booked your trip to Cancun in Mexico. So, what are the three most important things to do in Cancun? Cancun is the ideal destination for North Americans, the sun, fun and relaxing holiday. While in Cancun are a variety of activities and things to do, I chose my top 3 personal favorites is based on many visits to Cancun. An expanded list also echoes parks.

Chichen Itza Tour

Chichen Itzawas one of the largest Maya cities, as demonstrated by the large number of monuments, including the famous pyramid and the largest ball court in the Mayan world. Legend has it that the losers in the game played in front of the ball court were sacrificed to the gods. Chichen Itza is located in 2.5 hours away from Cancun. May day trips by tour bus or car will be reached on one. If you rent a car must be traveling on the open road, little affected by Maya country. You canStop the street and visit the Maya, where they live and how they live. A word of caution: Chichen Itza is a very hot, take plenty of water, enough to drink and splash about themselves.

Snorkel in Cenotes

Cenotes are cave openings to underground rivers of the Yucatan Peninsula. The maximum depth is 50 meters, high visibility, usually little electricity and fresh water. Cenotes were vital, since they are the only source of water and were revered,Cenotes are believed gateway to heaven. At Chichen Itza (see above), various objects were thrown and the holy sacrifice in the well, including jewelry and sometimes people.

There are some cenotes in Cancun, for example, Azul, what can you travel to visit in a day and is a great place cenote with a surplus of those people under the pool can be directly plain cool. You can also reach for a guided tour or hire guides underwater remote cave or cenote.Cenotes are unique to the Yucatan and anywhere else in the world are trying to find out.

Sail to Isla Mujeres

A trip to Isla Mujeres by catamaran is highly recommended. Will wine and eaten on the street, and visit the beautiful island of Isla Mujeres and in a number of local authorities for snorkeling. Although it has been discovered by tourists in this island sleepy fishing village, and has maintained its peaceful atmosphere. Long a haven forDivers and fishermen, is the small island eight miles from the tip of the Yucatan Peninsula. You can snorkel from the island catamaran and experience the crystal clear waters and colorful fish. The race is a deal in Cancun catamaran, while for lunch and had less than $ 50 per person includes beverages. Be sure to negotiate.

The only problem with this trip is that once arrived in Isla Mujeres, you do not want to rely on this beautiful place, so a plan to reduce theOn your next trip.
